Services for Nita Adams, 76, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church in Wills Point, TX, with Rev. Gene Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery.
Nita passed away January 2, 2010, in Terrell, TX.
Callie Juanita Adams was born November 20, 1933, to the late David and Mattie Juanita Asbury. She was raised in Paris, TX, and moved to Wills Point, TX in 1970. She worked as a nurse at Crestwood Assisted Living in Wills Point and at Cherry Street Manor in Paris. Nita also owned and operated Loveland Daycare Center in Wills Point. Nita attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Nita is survived by her son, Randy Adams and his wife, Jennifer of Wills Point, TX; grandson, Kolton and Kash Adams of Wills Point, TX; cousins, Dorothy White of Blossom, TX, and Harold Wayne White of Paris, TX; sister-in-law, Iva Ruth Hargrove and husband, Bobby of Paris, TX; and many other relatives and friends.
Family visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
